I'm Just The Proud Mother

I'm a little late on posting this but you know how time flies especially when you have snap beans from the garden to put up.
Anyway my daughter took choir in school this past year and at the end they had a competition. They were being judged from an outside party. There were 15 to start out with.
My daughter sang solo and made third place so she got her trophy and a medal. Here are some photos. I'm sorry the photo is sideways but I couldn't get it right side up.

My Mini Vacation

We went on a mini vacation to Talladega, Al to visit my stepdaughter and on the way back we stopped at the Bass Pro Shop and it was just fascinating inside. There was a fireplace with couches surrounding it so that you can sit down and rest. I have put some of the pictures from it in this post.

My favorite was the deer drinking the beer oh that might have been a magarita. I also took photos of the scenery as we drove up there. We drove up on Saturday and came back on Sunday. While we were there we went to an auction which is a first for me. We wound up buying a chair, dresser with mirrors, gun rack, a big picture and a waffle iron. We drove up in my car and so we had to call my stepson to come in his brand new truck to come and bring it home.

I just wanted to share so I guess I'll go for now.

My Grandsons Colin and Zachary

Zachary will be 3 in December Colin will be 1 in June

I think I have the cutest grandsons. I don't get to see Zachary like I want. His mother won't bring him around until she and my son are divorced and have papers. Hopefully that won't be to much longer. As you can see the dates in the pictures that is when I saw them last. Colin's mother finally let my son Pat get to keep him for that weekend. I had not seen him but once since he was born. He is supposed to get him for this weekend too. We will see. It is after 11 at night here so I am going to go for now.

This photo was taken last year and soon the beach will be full with people. I know these photos are old but the beach is eternal because it stays the same.

I lost the cord to hook my camera to my computer to download pictures. I wonder if you can put the card from the camera into the computer and upload that way. If you can I will let you know.
