Here I Am Again

Here I am again contemplating what it is I want out of life. I feel like there has to be more that life has to offer. I am unemployed and I stay at home with an allowance. I am used to having a paycheck and it is about to drive me crazy not having any money. I have a Down Syndrome daughter and it is very difficult finding someone who will watch her. i received a comment a while back from someone who was very nasty about handicapped children. It made me angry so I didn't post it. If you've never been around handicapped children you just don't know the unconditional love they give you.
Well enough about that
I hope everyone is having a good life. You know when I was younger I never even thought about the future and what I wanted to do. Now I find that I would love to travel and see different countries. I do not regret my life because I have four wonderful children, two grandsons and another one on the way.  I guess I am bored with nothing to do. Maybe I am feeling sorry for myself. I just feel like something is missing. Oh well maybe I will figure it out and then I can do something about.
I was separated a while back and I enjoyed being independant, come and go as I please, not to have to listen to anyone griping. Maybe I just miss that who knows.
I am going to go for now and I will talk to you later.

I'm Back

I'm finally back after being gone for so long. Let me fill you in on what has been happening since Iv'e been gone. I know that the last post stated that I was single. Weellll I'm not. My husband decided that he didn't like it too well without me. So I've decided to give him one more chance. You know like 1,2,3 and your out. Anyway we have been back together since January. Now my older son moved to New Orleans and got him a job over there. My younger son and I decided to go see him. I had brought my laptop with me and I was sick as a dog. We couldn't quite remember how to get to the street where needed to turn so my son saw a couple of people and decided to ask them. Well they said if we give them a ride to where they were heading which was on the way they would show us. My son said ok and I didn't feel too comfortable with it but I was trying to keep from being sick. I brought my purse up front with me but I left my laptop in the back. We got to where they wanted to be dropped off and they got out and I noticed my laptop was not there. My son got out and confronted them about it and needless to say they had a gun. I decided they could have my laptop. I could replace a computer but I could not replace a son. I got out of the car because I knew that my son would fight them if he had to but I didn't want him to. He wanted me to be safe and so he decided not to go for it. Sometimes as parents you have to put yourself in the way to keep your children safe. So I have been without a computer since mine was stolen but I do have my son alive. I have just now gotten another one. Oh by the way I am going to be a grandmother again by my younger son. I will now have 3 grandsons. Well enough for now. Talk to you later

I Love My Job

I work as a nurse at a nursing home and I love my residents. They have lived fascinating lives. I asked one female resident where are all the good men. She told me that  they were already married. But if I was to get a man then I need to find one with money because if I had to put up with a man then I need to get something out of it. I just LMAO. She told me she was married for 11 years and she told me after Katrina they got her for abandonment because she left her husband. One of my fellow nurse passed her door the other day and her gown was hiked up and my friend went in and covered her up and she told my friend that there isn't anyone who would want an 80 year cooter. My friend told me that and I just died laughing.. A lot of my people have alzheimers in various degrees which is sad to see but you can still see their personality. I just love them. They like to give me a hug and I hug them in return. They even tell me that they love me. I pick and play with them and they love it and they do the same to me. Well I have to get up early to go to work so I am going to go for now. I'll talk to you later.

Living The Single Life

I have been living on my own for several months now. While it is hard financially it is great. I love the feeling of being free, going where and when I want. I don't miss the third degree when I want to go somewhere. I am at a point in my life that if I meet someone in  the future or not it is good. I have my thirteen year old daughter that lives with me and she is a comfort for me. I am sitting here writing this and watching The Ghost Whisperer which happens to be my favorite show. I love my apartment and where I live. I don't have to cut grass and I have a swimming pool which I don't have to upkeep. Well I guess I am going to go for now but I will be back.
